Phuket on the table. Four very different stops.

Mor Mu Dong, Tambu, No. 6 Up the Hill and Ta Khai: four restaurant visits, from simple tables to an evening dinner.

Our time on Phuket included very different restaurant tables. At Mor Mu Dong, we shared fish and several dishes. At Tambu, colourful plates, bread and small bowls arrived in turn. Another stop took us to No. 6 Up the Hill. On the evening of 16 February, we ate at Ta Khai.

Mor Mu Dong · 5 February

Lunch in Chalong: several dishes on the table, a whole fish and something sweet to finish. Mor Mu Dong is in the mangrove area by the Mu Dong canal.

Tambu · 13 February

We spent the evening at Tambu in Avista Hideaway. Our photographs show a table set with floral plates, naan, a dish in a deep red sauce and rice in a small pot. Dessert arrived with a small cloud of mist.

No. 6 Up the Hill · 14 February

The next afternoon brought a different setting: a simple table, rice and a dish with plenty of herbs. A single photograph records this stop above Patong.

Ta Khai · 16 February

Our evening began in the garden at Rosewood Phuket. Later, we shared several dishes served on blue plates, with rice alongside. The open kitchen and wooden surroundings frame this series of photographs.

These photographs record our visits in February 2025. Menus and availability may have changed since then; the linked restaurant pages can help with planning.
